Project Overview
The new, expanded by 12,000 sq.ft., Museum of Surrey serves its diverse community as an exemplary cultural space in one of Canada’s fastest growing cities. The museum's new tagline, ‘Connecting People and Stories’, was inspired by both the city’s diverse population and the museum's array of rich collections and programs. StructureCraft designed, fabricated, and installed the dowel laminated timber for the roof structure. The DLT panels are supported by steel structure below, and are typically 56' long with a main span of 34'.
