2024 marked a significant milestone for us at MAKE. For the first time in our history, we expanded into a new geography, Vancouver Island. Looking back, it’s incredible to think this journey began with a potential opportunity, a brief discussion, and the rest is history. Within two months, everything fell into place, and by spring 2024, we officially landed in Victoria.
I feel fortunate that MAKE Vancouver Island launched with work already in hand, which made our entry into the region much smoother. This was made possible through the efforts of our principals; Darren Bryson, Mandeep Edmonds, Alan Nicholson, and Cristina Baciu, whose dedication helped pave the way and forge new relationships on the Island.
Now, in 2025, I’m excited to strengthen our existing partnerships and forge new connections across the local industry. While we continue to be supported by our incredible team in Vancouver, we’re also planning to grow our local presence to better serve our projects here.
